The biggest trouble with naming, whether its for a website, a band or even a person, is coming up with a name and to say it was difficult for us would be an understatement. trying to find a name for our traditional business was no one man work. It took days of continuous searching, stubbed pencils and filled up notepads, to come up with the brand. Looking up words from ancient languages like Hebrew, Greek or Lithuanian or trying to translate common english words into unique dialects, in fact even attempting to create a name from our own made up languages does without a doubt sound fun but in fact was quite an experience we do not wish to have to repeat. Don’t get us wrong, we truly did love the knowledgeable and historic path we were able to take, however it was unquestionably, a very tedious process. It was then that we fortunately had the chance to stumble upon ‘pavi’ Pavi although only four letters, is a beautiful, yet rare word that simply translates from sanskrit to mean ‘pure’, describing our concept perfectly. The name immediately stuck and we are proud to call our brand ‘Pavi Foods’. Where purity met authenticity and taste, the name has surely met its purpose.
